Aisha Howard

 American journalist and anchor Aisha H. Howard. The journalist who was nominated for an Emmy is an anchor for 11alive in Tegna Atlanta, Georgia. Aisha anchors the news at 11 o'clock there. Aisha was employed at a variety of television stations, including WNEM-Tv5 (Mid-Michigan) and WCTI News Channel 12 (New Bern, North Carolina), before becoming a part of the station. Aisha is a veteran of the media field with over 15 years of experience. Aisha excels at breaking news reporting because of her concise and slick reporting. Aisha ensures her viewers are pleased with her show even when she does not have the right information. Her live reporting, which is more than the headlines and includes narrative, is her main skill.Aisha is very thankful to come to Atlanta and be part of the 11Alive team as their co-host of Up Late on weeknights as the result of this complete-circle event. Aisha is frequently seen in the local entertainment and live music scene. Aisha is also an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. in the USA and the National Association of Black Journalists.
